How To Remove Blood Stains From Carpet | BCS Cleaning Specialists
Whether it’s a paper cut or a full-blown medical emergency, blood stains can be notoriously difficult to remove from carpets if they’re left for any amount of time. Act fast to save your carpet by following our easy, five-step process:
ONE
If the blood stain you’re trying to remove is dry, brush it with long, one-way strokes using a steel brush to loosen the stain. This will help break up the surface deposit. Don’t scrub back and forth or in circles, as it could push the stain further into the carpet.
TWO
Mix one teaspoon of hand dishwashing detergent with two cups of cold water.
THREE
Take a clean, white cloth and dip it in the detergent solution you just mixed.
FOUR
Blot directly and repeatedly on the blood stain.
FIVE
Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the stain has disappeared.
If this doesn’t solve the problem, call the experts at BCS at 801 561 1730 right away.
