HOW TO REMOVE PERMANENT INK STAINS FROM CARPET | BCS Cleaning Specialists

Okay, sometimes ‘permanent’ does actually mean ‘permanent’, but we’re not giving in without a fight! With a couple of simple tips from the experts at BCS, your carpet should be good as new in no time.

1. Moisten the ink stain with either rubbing alcohol or non-oily hairspray.
2. Gently blot (don’t rub) the ink stain from the carpet. As you start blotting, you should start to see the color transfer onto the towel. Keep blotting with clean sections of the towel, being careful not to spread the stain.
3. Once the area is stain-free, dab the area with a towel dipped in lukewarm water.
